The U.S. Marshals Service Northern District of Ohio will auction off an internally flawless, fancy intense 43.51-carat yellow diamond. The auction for the stone, which is about the size of a strawberry and was seized from a convicted money launderer, will be held September 6 through 8 on the online auction site Bid4Assets. A refundable deposit of $180,000 is required to participate in the auction and to inspect the diamond in person. Bidding will start at $900,000. (877.427.7387, www.bid4assets.com).
