Leviev used more than 100 fancy colored diamonds and hundreds of colorless diamonds and gemstones to create the five pieces in Leviev’s Five-Year Anniversary Collection (www.leviev.com). Each references one of the jeweler’s five international boutiques. The New York bracelet features 119 diamonds, each weighing about one carat, arranged in five intersecting rows; the design represents the city’s blending of various cultures. The Moscow cat brooch, called Russian Blue after the breed of cats specific to that region, features blue diamonds and a pear-shaped fancy vivid purplish pink diamond. Leviev will debut the collection in May at its New York store, where it will remain for about six weeks before going to London, then Singapore, Dubai, and Moscow.
