Elisa Browsh collected the one-of-kind cultured pearls featured in her Elyria Cat Street collection ( over the last three years, searching for unusual specimens to sell through her import business. Browsh saved the most remarkable examples for these jewelry designs, which are priced from $1,200 to about $12,000. The $5,500 Anatolia necklace shown at right showcases an abstract-shaped, copper-color baroque freshwater pearl. A ring of cognac diamonds connects the pearl to a kite-shaped emerald. Another piece from the collection, the $4,400 Garuda necklace, features black jade strung with Tahitian pearls.
