The Hollywood art gallery and boutique Just One Eye has opened a 414-square-foot store, featuring one-of-a-kind works by the jewelry artist Wilfredo Rosado. Before debuting his designs in 2011, Rosado was the fashion director for Giorgio Armani and had worked closely with such artists as Andy Warhol and David LaChappelle, gleaning inspiration from their creative processes and attuning his sensibilities toward intriguing contemporary aesthetics. Rosado, a New Jersey native, then honed his jewelry-making skills with the experts at 135-year-old French couture atelier Maison Lemarié before beginning to make each of his own designs in workshops in Italy and Paris.
Among the 50 pieces offered at the new boutique are Rosado’s organically inspired 18-karat-gold and diamond Branch pendant necklace and a dramatic 18-karat yellow-gold fringe cuff. Designs range in price from $6,000 to more than $200,000. (justoneeye.com; wilfredorosado.com)
