Lugano Diamonds Reveals Its Coastal Collection

The California jeweler dives into the Pacific for inspiration for its latest line…

Bejeweled starfish, sea urchins, stingrays, and seashells, among other sea-inspired designs, make up the new Coastal Collection, the latest line of jewelry designed by Moti Ferder, design director and president of Lugano Diamonds. Ferder drew inspiration from a variety of ocean life for the new 25-piece collection and transformed his vision into elaborate jewel-encrusted pieces made with various metals.

Standout pieces include a South Sea pearl ring ($7,800) with brilliant-cut and rose-cut diamonds, aquamarines, sapphires, and freshwater pearls set in 18-karat white gold; a delicate white-gold stingray pendant ($2,900) that can be worn as a brooch or on a necklace; and a ring ($12,800) that features a large 43.76-carat dark-purple amethyst set in black gold and accented with opals and round-cut and rose-cut diamonds.
