Nature’s Bounty

Jeweler Sarah Graham turned to the pages of Ernst Haeckel’s Art Forms in Nature for inspiration for her newest collection that features an interpretation of coral made in her signature blackened steel combined with 18-karat gold and diamond accents. “Haeckel’s work is the ultimate union of art and science,” says the designer about the German biologist, physician, artist and philosopher. “He studied the nature of form and drew forms of nature.” The bold coral designs, made into rings, pendants, and earrings, are scientifically accurate forms of blooming coral in all shapes and sizes. Graham is known for her inventive uses of blackened metals that when paired with diamonds and gold gives jewelry a more subdued image. (800.670.0917, sarahgraham.com)
