A Treasury of Antique, Estate and Custom Jewelry

New spring treasures have arrived at the Camilla Dietz Bergeron Showroom, New York City...

Gus Davis, Camilla Dietz Bergeron’s partner of 20 plus years has been busy hunting for their latest spring pieces. After a whirlwind of traveling to The Palm Beach Jewelry – Art and Antiques Show, The Original Miami Beach Jewelry, Watch & Antiques Show, The International Fine Art & Antique Dealers Show, The New York Art, Antique & Jewelry Show and The Lueur at the Javitz Center, Gus is thrilled to share his favorite selections for the spring.

“Clients are always looking for new jewelry to add to their wardrobe throughout the different seasons of the year,” said Davis.  “Therefore, I am always on the hunt!”  “This spring, I am seeing an increase of interest in large colored stones, big bold gold jewelry and anything signed.”  “Signed jewelry holds its value, shows provenance and because the pieces are authentic, it heightens the purchasers’ confidence in making an investment in expensive jewelry,” said Davis.

New jewelry pieces featured at the Camilla Dietz Bergeron Showroom include:

  • Platinum and Diamond Brooch, Circa 1935: The brooch centers upon two triangular cut diamonds surrounded by four trapezoid diamonds and is set upon pave diamond scrollwork and a spray motif plaque with one hundred and forty two round brilliant cut diamonds, fifty five baguette cut diamonds and ten triangular cut diamonds. Total diamond weight for the brooch is two hundred and thirteen diamonds totaling 32.70 carats.
  • 18 Karat Yellow Gold and Diamond Minaudière: A signed Cartier piece, made in France, numbered 15029. This piece was designed as a textured gold clutch of envelope design, enhanced by round brilliant-cut diamonds, opening to reveal a mirror. Nineteen round brilliant-cut diamonds enhance the front edge and weigh approximately 1.00 carats.
  • Onyx Ring: A piece signed by Renee Boivin. The dome shaped ring is set with numerous green onyx baguettes edged in carved black onyx. The ring size is 4 ¼ and unfortunately may not be resized. Included is the authentication paperwork as designed by Renee Boivin.

Camilla Dietz Bergeron, Ltd. is a niche business that buys and sells antique, period and estate jewelry. The most unique and one-of-a-kind pieces will consistently be discovered in their elegant Madison Avenue salon. Visits to their salon are by appointment only to insure the quintessential customer experience. Camilla Dietz Bergeron offers special items at various price points. Although pieces by the masters such as Cartier, Van Cleef & Arpels, Flato, Schlumberger and Mauboussin are sought after whenever possible, Gus is always in search of timeless engagement rings, distinctive cufflinks, or that special anniversary gift.  “Clients can always rely on discovering something new,” Davis states proudly.
