Corum’s unique linear Golden Bridge movement is 1.19 inches long and rests on hand-engraved plates and bridges. It seemingly floats in its sapphire crystal case surrounded by diamonds and precious gems such as blue sapphires or rubies, depending on the version chosen. Inside information: Nearly three years in development and production, the first Golden Bridge was introduced in September 1980. In 2005, to mark Corum’s 50th anniversary, this model was reintroduced after the watchmakers spent an additional three years re-engineering and improving this already remarkable watch. Various jeweled versions have been created since that time.
