Ulysse Nardin’s Marine Diver Artemis Racing watch commemorates both the 35th instance of the America’s Cup, sailing’s most renowned regatta, and the manufacture’s official partnership with Sweden’s Artemis Racing team in its quest to bring the cup home next year for the first time. A limited-edition version of Ulysse Nardin’s Marine Diver chronometer, the watch reflects the brand’s nautical heritage. Bordered by a unidirectional bezel (to ensure accurate measurement of dive time), the face features a pattern of yachts across an ocean-blue background, while the hour indices and hands are striped in yellow—the Artemis team’s signature color also prominent on the watch’s blue rubber strap. A seconds counter inset with a circular date display sits at 6 o’clock and is inscribed with the words “Challenger 35th America’s Cup” and “Artemis Racing,” which are also engraved on the screw-locked caseback along with the team’s logo and sailboat.
Inside the stainless-steel case lies a self-winding movement with a 42-hour power reserve, the remaining duration of which is indicated on the dial at 12 o’clock. A screw-locked crown with a rubber gasket helps ensure that the watch is water-resistant down to 984 feet. First introduced at the America’s Cup World Series qualifying races in Göteborg, Sweden, at the end of August, the Marine Diver Artemis Racing watch will be limited to 250 examples, each priced at $8,800.
