Mexico’s most unusual festival is coming to the sister beach resorts of Ixtapa and Zihuatanejo December 12 to 15, 2013, with everything from art exhibits to a professional surfing competition.
“Zanka Fest 2013 is an eclectic, one-of-a-kind festival that will be four days of non-stop fun,” explained Viceroy Zihuatanejo General Manager Martin Kipping. “Our guests can be part of all the festivities, while enjoying a luxurious and pampered resort stay, with our special festival package.”
Zanka Fest 2013 will feature artists painting; surf films; nightly parties with DJs and live bands on La Ropa beach, where the Viceroy Zihuatanejo is located; a three-day international surfing competition; stand-up paddle (SUP) races; and more. The Viceroy Zihuatanejo, a paradisal enclave on Mexico’s Pacific coast, is offering a festival package for two of accommodations, breakfast daily and Zanka Fest passes for $443 per night for two nights, or $329 per night for three nights or longer.
