Experienced surfers can explore Bali’s best breaks on advanced “surfari” expeditions, while novices can kick back on the tranquil waves of Jimbaran Bay (priced from $110 per person per hour).

Sails Up ❖ In June, St. Lucia’s Capella Marigot Bay Resort and Marina (capellahotels.com) debuted its new sailing academy, offering one- to five-day programs. Led by a certified sailing crew, the private lessons (priced from $1,300 per person) take place aboard a wooden monohull yacht and include instruction on knot tying, steering, and reefing.
