Butlers are available to guests in each of the 42 villas and 79 suites at the new St. Regis Bali Resort, which opened on the Indonesian island in September. In addition to preparing your meals, the butlers will arrange anything from a round at the adjacent Bali Golf & Country Club to a guided tour of the island’s Hindu temples.
The St. Regis sits on a long, sandy beach in the island’s Nusa Dua area. Set above a large koi pond, the property’s Remède Spa offers such treatments as an exfoliation with a paste made from sandalwood, turmeric, ground nuts, and rice. Caviar is a highlight at the Kayuputi restaurant, although the delicacy may not be enough to lure guests from one of the St. Regis’ two Strand Residences—10,000-square-foot accommodations that, like the villas, include quarters for your butler.
