Mirbeau Inn & Spa Celebrates the Season in the Finger Lakes With French-Inspired Festivities

SKANEATELES, N.Y. –  Mirbeau Inn & Spa, located in the heart of New York’s Finger Lakes region, is inviting guests to enjoy French-inspired holiday festivities, with its Christmas and New Year’s celebrations. On Thursday, Dec. 25, Mirbeau’s Christmas Day Buffet will feature savory dishes both hot and cold including Roasted Ribeye and Bordelaise, Lobster Cheddar Mac and Cheese, Omelets, an elaborate Raw Bar, and assorted sweets created by Pastry Chef Abigail Freund. The buffet will also kid-friendly Cheeseburger Sliders, Chicken Fingers and Cheddar Mac and Cheese. The Christmas Buffet is $55 per adult (ages 14 and up), $20 per person for children 6-13, and free for children under five. Seatings are available at 12 p.m., 2 p.m. and 4 p.m.

On Wednesday, Dec. 31, Mirbeau welcomes the return of its popular New Year’s Eve Gala, where revelers can send off 2014 in style with an evening of passed hors d’oeuvres, a variety of food stations, including a carving table with Stuffed Pork Loin and Roasted Ribeye; a pasta station; a Mediterranean display with dips, spreads and olives; a French station with Cassoulet, Poussin Au Jus, and Dauphinois Potatoes; and delectable desserts. Revelers can dance to live music until the wee hours and enjoy a selection of wine, beer and cocktails. Doors open at 8 p.m. and the fun won’t stop until 2 a.m. Gala tickets are priced at $150 per person including tax and gratuities. Party guests must be 21 or older and semi-formal attire is required.

Those who want to keep the celebration going can make the most of their evening with Mirbeau Inn & Spa’s New Year’s Gala Overnight Package, which includes luxe accommodations, tickets to the gala, the breakfast buffet, and all taxes and gratuities. Rates start at $825, based on double occupancy.

On Thursday, Jan. 1, Mirbeau will welcome 2015 with a New Year’s Day Brunch from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. where guests can indulge in a scrumptious spread including egg stations, assorted meats and potatoes, pastries, fresh fruit and a selection of desserts. Brunch is $25 per person and $12 for children 13 and under.
