California’s Newport Beach coastline will soon boast a new luxury hotel slated to open in summer 2017, set among the city’s marina, beach and retail mix at the entrance to Lido Isle and the Balboa Peninsula. Once completed, Lido House will feature 130 luxury guestrooms, including two signature circular suites, an expansive presidential suite, as well as five residential-style, three-story cottages. This much anticipated boutique hotel from R.D. Olson Development will sit on more than four acres on the former Newport Beach City Hall site. Lido House will feature 4,000 square feet of meeting and event space to include a ballroom, pre-function space and an executive boardroom; a central courtyard and pool area; a lawn area with communal fire pits, croquet and lawn bowling areas; a three-meal restaurant, The Mayor’s Table, honoring the hotel’s City Hall history; a spa and fitness facility; and more.
