Phulay Bay, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve, Gets a New Leader

Phulay Bay, A Ritz-Carlton Reserve is pleased to announce the appointment of Mrs. Tessa Gorman as General Manager. Gorman brings to the resort 12 years of experience in the hospitality industry, including 10 years in management.

Prior to joining the team at Phulay Bay, Tessa consulted for numerous companies including Aman Villas, Bulgari Hotels, LVMH, Ritz-Carlton and 365 Playground Management. Most recently, in 2013, she established a villa rental and management company with a portfolio of luxury properties and developments.

Tessa’s career in hospitality began at Crystal Ski Holidays Europe as a recruitment and training specialist. In 2006, she joined Aman Resorts signature property, Amanpuri, where she managed the villa program. She was later promoted to Senior Assistant Manager  at the same property, and then to Executive Assistant Manager and interim General Manager at Amanusa Bali. During her time with Aman Resorts, Tessa played an instrumental role  in various aspects of resort management such as rooms division, sales and marketing, improved employee relations, increased meeting and incentive revenue and launched a new phase of villas.
