Quasar Expeditions’ Overland Safaris Provide Adventure and Independence for Travelers

Quasar Expeditions, pioneers in providing unique travel experiences in Patagonia, has further enhanced the adventure and luxury that guests expect. The newest addition to the company’s overland safaris in Argentina and Chile, the Patagonia Overland Safari, allows travelers to experience Patagonian sites, including National Parks Torres del Paine and Los Glaciares, and the mighty Perito Moreno Glacier, in a Jeep® Wrangler Rubicon equipped with a navigation system.

Quasar’s Overland Jeep Safaris offer three options to discover the region’s natural paradise: accompanied by a tour leader who can also serve as a driver, a second option with a tour leader that puts travelers in the driver’s seat, or a completely self-drive option where travelers pilot their own Jeep® and rely on the GPS Ranger installed in each vehicle to navigate and enjoy the parks.

The Patagonia Overland Safari with the Self-Driven or Guided tour option starts at $6,450 per person and includes:

  • 8 nights/9 days in Chile and Argentina
  • Five-star accommodations at Singular Hotel, Eolo Lodge and Tierra Patagonia
  • Breakfast, lunch and dinner daily
  • Fuel for the Jeep throughout the trip
  • Insurance for the vehicle and passengers
  • Entrances to the parks
  • Spirits consumption
  • Hiking, horseback riding and ice trekking excursions

Quasar Expeditions also offer travelers the freedom to completely customize experiences they choose in Patagonia by combining any two half-day programs or choosing one full-day program. Just a few of the adventures include: fly fishing the Santa Cruz River; a catamaran journey around the Perito Moreno Glacier; kayaking Lake Gray; a Mirador Cuernos hike, horseback riding around Laguna Sofía ~ Las Cuevas, hike to the base of the towers in Torres del Paine and many others. Additionally, travelers have the option to extend Patagonia trips with packaged or tailored wine tours, paired with cultural and culinary delights in Chile.
