Sneak Peek: Four Seasons Nevis, West Indies

The Four Seasons Resort Nevis, West Indies officially reopened on December 15, after sustaining substantial damage from Hurricane Omar in 2008.  The resort, located on the West Indies island known for being the birthplace of Alexander Hamilton, features 196 rebuilt rooms and suites along with private-residence villas, estate homes, and private beach cabanas, which are available for daily rental. Dining options range from the returning Dive and Dine program, which pairs scuba-certified guests with executive chef Andreas Donnerbauer and other members of his team in a joint effort to catch the guests’ own seafood dinner, to Mango, which features West Indian cuisine, and the new Coral Grill, which specializes in grilled seafood with a French and Asian twist. Also restored are the golf course, new onsite sailing school, and a refurbished spa, which focuses on treatments using tropical-island ingredients such as papaya, honey, sugar cane, rum, and coconut.
