Suite Attractions at the Peninsula Beverly Hills

For the last 19 years, the Peninsula Beverly Hills has earned both AAA Five-Diamond and Forbes Five-Star distinctions—the longest winning streak of any Southern California hotel. This month, after a year of renovations, the 21-year-old hotel revealed 193 remodeled guest rooms ($625 to $8,000 per night), including 36 suites and 16 villas. Most noteworthy are the hotel’s four largest suites (1,500 to 2,730 square feet). Each of the specialty suites now features a unique color-scheme, and a full kitchen with Viking appliances, and each retains its original limestone fireplace. Stay in the blue suite for its two bedrooms or choose from the one-bedroom pink, green, and white suites, all offering lavish garden views. The green suite boasts additional amenities, including a grand piano and a 10-person dining room. As before, 24-hour check-in and a private airport concierge are available, and the unchanged rooftop pool continues to offer unobstructed views of Los Angeles’ MGM and Fox towers. (310.551.2888,
