Trump Chicago and Samuel Goldwyn Films Host “A Year in Champagne” Screening

Trump International Hotel & Tower® Chicago and Samuel Goldwyn Films welcome guests to an exclusive pre-release screening of “A Year In Champagne” on Wednesday, March 4. Hosted in the downtown Chicago hotel’s Skyline Room, guests will enjoy a first-look at the highly anticipated film along with gourmet popcorn and – the star of the night – pours of Champagne.

For an evening filled with epicurean delights, guests can join for a pre-movie dinner at Sixteen, the hotel’s two-star Michelin-rated restaurant featuring the modern American cuisine of Executive Chef Thomas Lents. For the event, the restaurant will offer a special three-course tasting menu paired with exceptional Champagnes curated by Restaurant Director and Sommelier Dan Pilkey. The evening’s menu costs $125 with reservations available between 5:30 and 6:30 p.m., leading in to the 8 p.m. film screening.

Written and directed by David Kennard and distributed by Samuel Goldwyn Films, “A Year in Champagne” is the second film in a remarkable wine trilogy, following the award-winning documentary “A Year in Burgundy.” The film delves into  the  story  and  region  behind  the  world’s  most  famous  wine. Renowned wine importer Martine Saunier, as your guide, gives a rare glimpse behind the scenes in Champagne through both small independent winemakers and illustrious houses.

‘A Year in Champagne’ will be available on iTunes and in select theaters on March 6, 2015. A preview of the film may be viewed here.

Tickets to the film screening cost $50 and are available for purchase here. To reserve dinner before the show at Sixteen, please visit the restaurant online or call (312) 588-8030.
