The Loot Summer Fest 2015 will fill the weekends in Zihuatanejo in July and August with music, art, fashion, dining and sports activities – making a summer getaway to the beautiful beaches of this popular destination on the Mexican Pacific better than ever.
“The LOOT Summer Fest 2015 is the optimum opportunity for travelers to rediscover Zihuatanejo and all it has to offer,” said Martin Kipping, General Manager of the Viceroy Zihuatanejo, the official host of the festival. “Zihua is one of Mexico’s most relaxed, pleasurable and beautiful destinations with exquisite beaches, excellent cuisine, activities for everyone, and exciting cultural events such as LOOT.”
Each weekend features such activities and events as theater and dinner nights with wine pairing, concerts by Mexican and foreign bands, art exhibitions by emerging national and international artists, DJ “Hang Out” party and film screenings, as well as surfing, stand-up paddle boarding and yoga. The festival wrap-ups the weekend of August 28-30 with a concert by Tora, the hit Australian band that will perform in Zihuatanejo following their extensive concert tour of Europe.
Located on Playa la Ropa adjacent to Viceroy Zihuatanejo, LOOT Life & Concept Store, the creator of the festival, is a concept store and gourmet cafe that integrates fashion, design, art, surfing, music and gastronomy. For the latest about LOOT use hashtag #MeetMeInZihuatanejo.
