A New Vacation Club Offers Added Incentive to Go Away

Christina Garofalo

If you need a little push to start planning your next holiday, the Getaway 2 Give (G2G) Collection—the latest contender in the luxury-vacation-club market—now lets you pair your penchant for travel with philanthropy. In addition to facilitating tailor-made travel experiences around the world, the G2G Collection donates half of each member’s $15,000 initiation fee to any charity of choice. The remaining cost, plus a $5,000 annual fee, covers vacations that include chartered cruises down the Panama Canal or throughout the Mediterranean; stays at private villas in Deer Valley (Utah), Cabo San Lucas, the Turks and Caicos, and Tuscany, among others; and trips to luxury hotels like the Pierre in New York, the Langham London, the Hotel Madeline in Telluride, and the Thanda Private Game Reserve in South Africa. At each destination, the G2G Collection provides members with a private concierge to coordinate transportation, dining experiences—which can range from meals prepared by private chefs to grocery shopping for in-suite cooking classes—daily excursions, volunteer opportunities, and all their other needs during a stay.
