OCTOBER 04, 2015

Launched at the Monaco Yacht Show, the Ulysse Nardin Dual Time Manufacture—Monaco watch is a tribute to the 25th anniversary of the maritime exhibition and the watchmaker’s seventh year as a principal sponsor. A redesign of the renowned Ulysse Nardin Dual Time watch, the limited-edition Monaco features a stainless-steel case encompassing an ocean-blue face. On the dial is a dual time-zone display at 9 o’clock, a seconds counter set above the 6 o’clock position, and a date display at 2 o’clock. The multipurpose crown clicks through adjustment modes for time, date, and winding, at the press of the pusher—the selection indicated by an arced gauge and needle on the dial. Mirroring the arc is the inscription that reads “Monaco Yacht Show 2015.”

Anchoring the self-winding watch is a Caliber UN-324 movement—with a 48-hour power reserve—visible through the crystal caseback. The Ulysse Nardin logo and that of the principality of Monaco are also clear to see through the back. Only 100 examples of the numbered watch will be made, each at a price of $12,500. (www.ulysse-nardin.com)
