FrontRunners: Protecting The Crown Jewels

<< Back to Robb Report, November 2005

Chubby Especials, Double Grandes, and other Crown Series cigars will find appropriately regal accommodations in the new humidor from Zino Platinum (866.561.5525, www.zinoplatinum.com). The Swiss company’s Zino Platinum Cavern features 15 layers of lacquer coating on its outer walls, a finish of which Steinway would be proud. Inside is storage for 45 to 60 cigars, as well as a stainless steel compartment for your cutter and lighter. The Cavern ($2,800) also includes a removable cedar tray outfitted with palladium-plated brass handles, and a built-in humidification system to keep your Crown Series cigars in ideal condition.
