FrontRunners: Select Smoke

<< Back to Robb Report, January 2007

Recently, the Cuban cigar maker Perdomo resolved to bring together two favorite male pastimes: golf and a good smoke. The welcome result, La Tradicion Perdomo Reserve Limited Golf Edition, has the same robust Nicaraguan binder and filler as the other cigars in the La Tradicion line, coupled this time with an Ecuadorean-grown, Connecticut-seed wrapper to lighten the flavor. The Golf is available in nine sizes, including the 6 x 54 Eagle shown here. You can acquire the Golf packaged in conventional boxes or in a Caddy pack with four Double Eagle 7 x 54 tube-packed cigars, four Perdomo golf balls, and a double guillotine cutter. (Eagles $7.10 each, Caddy pack $40) www.perdomocigars.com
