Winemaker Chris Miller, who also is beverage director for Spago, Wolfgang Puck’s flagship restaurant in Beverly Hills, has opened and tasted more fine wine than the rest of us can even imagine. If anyone knows what great Pinot Noir tastes like, he does. His expression from Santa Rita Hills of this notoriously touchy varietal lives up to the label’s name, which in Latin means "for the pursuit of the better." ($50)
