Six Tequilas You Should Be Drinking This Summer

It’s summer, and that means, inevitably, that it’s time to drink tequila. Sure, it’s fun to think iconoclastically and declare that the calendar cannot dictate what one wants to drink. But the lure of the blue agave is hard to resist, and come the advent of warm weather, we find ourselves happily downing margaritas, Palomas, and tequila Old Fashioneds along with the rest of the civilized world.

But just because you’re drinking the same spirit as everyone else this season doesn’t mean you can’t elevate your game. Tequila is a beautiful, refined, sophisticated spirit when you’re drinking the right bottles. And we’ve got six of them for you. Blanco, joven, añejo, extra añejo—there’s something here for every palate. Just make sure you sip rather than pound it. Great tequila is something to savor, after all.
