Thin Is In

    L’atelier Lat Lancero

Pete Johnson’s L’Atelier is among a handful of brands that are resurrecting the graceful and thin lancero, a popular cigar shape from decades past. L’Atelier’s example is traditional in size (7½ × 38) but constructed with a hearty Sancti Spíritus wrapper and an Ecuadoran-grown hybrid of Criollo and Pelo de Oro tobaccos. Puffing on this thin beauty is like sipping espresso through a straw. ($9.50) latelierimports.com
