The 2008 Sassicaia is a Bordeaux-style wine with a Tuscan flair, combining 85 percent Cabernet Sauvignon and 15 percent Cabernet Franc. The wine aged for 24 months in French oak barrels, where it developed a fascinating profile suggesting wild flower aromas and flavors of delicious dark red fruit, grilled meat, and saddle leather. ($180)
