Representing the fourth generation of his family to make wine in Napa Valley, owner and winemaker William Ballentine Jr. operates a three-acre vineyard in St. Helena that boasts a historic stone winery dating to the 1870s. Ballentine blends grapes grown in the loamy soils of the valley floor with hillside fruit cultivated in soils of volcanic rock; the result is a rich, complex, and quintessential Napa Cabernet Sauvignon.
