Emily Hunt is a writer and editor living in Los Angeles. She studied critical theory and comparative literature at the University of California, Santa Barbara, and the Paris Center for Critical Studies. Since then, she has lived and worked in Los Angeles, holding positions at the Los Angeles Review of Books, the world-literature and translation publisher Phoneme Media, and Robb Report. Her interviews and writing on the arts, culture, and entertainment can be found in the San Francisco Bay Guardian, Los Angeles Review of Books, and North Bay Bohemian, on DoLA, and elsewhere. She is a poet and fiction writer, and her creative work can be found in Yay! LA, Artillery magazine, and The Catalyst. She is an animal-rights supporter and amateur vegan baker and cook. She is currently working on her first collection of short fiction.
