When master cigar roller Hamlet Paredes left Cuba and joined Rocky Patel in 2015, he brought some old Havana cigar making traditions with him—such as this culebra, a 19th century figurado. One of Hamlet’s most unique shapes, the culebra is actually three long thin Nicaraguan cigars, each eight inches in length, that have been twisted around each other to form a braid. They are meant to be carefully unwound and smoked individually. ($36)
