A Trio of Dining Options

As part of a recent $1 billion renovation, Fontainebleau Miami Beach has added three new fine dining restaurants to its culinary offerings: Gotham Steak, Scarpetta, and Hakkasan. Highlights of Gotham Steak include a 500-bottle wine list housed in a two-story, glass wine cellar. Hard-to-find cuts such as a 50-day-aged New York strip are complemented by seafood dishes such as Maine lobster with savoy cabbage, fingerling potatoes, and black truffles. At Scarpetta, the regional Italian fare showcases locally sourced farm fresh and organic ingredients in dishes such as the milk-fed veal chop with a saffron-semolina dumpling, escarole, chanterelle mushrooms, and bone marrow. Finally, Hakkasan features reinterpreted Cantonese dishes such as a tea-smoked jasmine chicken and roasted silver cod in Chinese honey and champagne. (305.538.2000, www.fontainebleau.com)
