Philadelphia’s Iconic Hotel, The Rittenhouse, Debuts New Library Bar

The Rittenhouse, Philadelphia’s iconic hotel has just announced the opening of its new Library Bar, named for its intimate design and carefully curated collection of books and fine art. Open daily (2 pm – midnight) for small bites and cocktails, the Library Bar is poised to be Philadelphia’s most sophisticated cocktail destination and a welcome addition to the City Center’s bustling business set.

With master mixologist Pablo “Papi” Hurtado at the helm, the new bar’s contemporary cocktails offer a sense of intrigue, with innovative concoctions and ingredients. A highlight of the menu includes the Perfect Square, a different take on the Manhattan in which the secret is a house-made Old Fashioned Bitters. The Library Bar also offers locally crafted beer, wines and spirits, and a distinct bar menu featuring a selection of shareable appetizers, salads and desserts, as well as sweet and savory wine and food pairings by Executive Chef Jon Cichon.
