Ramsay Finds a Home in Versailles

Gordon Ramsay has ventured across the Channel to open Gordon Ramsay au Trianon, located in the 199-room Trianon Palace and Spa in Versailles, France. The kitchen is helmed by Simone Zanoni, who was previously head chef of Ramsay’s Michelin three-star Gordon Ramsey in London and who will be creating such dishes as pan-fried John Dory with tourteau crab, crushed new potatoes, caviar and basil vinaigrette, as well as oven-roasted Vendée pigeon with beetroot fondant, date puree, and Madeira sauce. The hotel is undergoing a complete refurbishment, which will include new interiors, an update to the landscape design, and renovation of the spa. (+, www.gordonramsay.com)
