Over four days, guests will create a customized menu of food, wine, spirit and mountain experiences featuring internationally renowned guest chefs and celebrated host chefs, hands-on cooking demonstrations, dynamic après-ski events, hand-selected wines, expertly crafted cocktails and endless hours of skiing on the pristine Beaver Creek slopes. Friday, Jan. 22, 2016:

Snowshoe & Gourmet Lunch: Enjoy one of Beaver Creek’s most majestic settings—the secluded Beaver Creek Nordic Sports Center and McCoy Park—on a guided snowshoe tour. Return ready for a delectable multicourse lunch with wine pairings prepared by Grouse Mountain Grill’s executive chef David Gutowski and guest chef Richard Blais.

Après-Ski Burgers & Beers: Stroll through the intimate and charming Beaver Creek Village while indulging in frosty beers and juicy burgers from some of the best grill masters in Beaver Creek.

Four Course and Two Step at SaddleRidge: Put your boots on! Sample exquisite wines while exploring the unique museum at SaddleRidge with frontier artifacts such as Geronimo’s tomahawk and General Custer’s hat and canteen. Settle into a four-course dinner designed by SaddleRidge’s executive chef Adam Roth. After indulging in dinner, select a partner for live music and Two Step lessons.

Ski.Eat.Ski: Tackle the mountain and explore intermediate and advanced terrain with the help of Beaver Creek’s acclaimed ski instructors. Discover Beaver Creek Mountain’s best kept secrets with a small group, plus get tips and techniques throughout the day. After working up an appetite, indulge in a gourmet lunch designed by Zach’s Cabin executive chef Tim McCaw and guest chef Paul Reilly.

Cooking Demonstration & Lunch: With this exclusive cooking class, get a front-row seat as guest chef George Mendes takes over Splendido at the Chateau’s spectacular demonstration kitchen. Guest Chefs:

  • Richard Blais:  Perhaps most recognizable as the winner of Bravo’s Top Chef All-Stars, Richard Blais is a successful chef, restaurateur, James Beard Award-nominated cookbook author and television personality. He is a regular guest on Food Network and returns again as a featured judge on Season 13 of Top Chef. Chef Blais will be featured at the Snowshoe & Gourmet Lunch and Grand Tasting.
  • Stephanie Izard: Celebrated chef and author, Stephanie Izard is the chef-partner of Chicago restaurants Girl & the Goat and Little Goat. Chef Izard’s accolades include 2013 James Beard “Best Chef: Great Lakes,” “2011 Food & Wine Best New Chef,” and winner of Top Chef  Season Four. In 2016, Stephanie will open her third restaurant, a Chinese concept called Duck Duck Goat in Chicago’s West Loop neighborhood. Chef Izard will be featured at the Splendido Dinner and Grand Tasting.
  • George Mendes: American-born to Portuguese parents, George Mendes is executive chef/partner of two New York City restaurants: Lupulo and Michelin-starred Aldea. Chef Mendes has trained under some of the world’s most heralded chefs including Alain Ducasse, Alain Passard, Martin Berasategui, and David Bouley. Chef Mendes will be featured at The Cooking Demonstration & Lunch and Grand Tasting.
  • Paul Reilly: Local Colorado ingredients and purveyors are celebrated at Chef Reilly’s Denver restaurant, beast + bottle, and forthcoming Coperta. Equal care and thought is found in the eclectic wine, beer, and spirits program with a focus on great pairings to enhance the menu and overall dining experience. Chef Reilly will be featured at Ski.Eat.Ski and Grand Tasting.
