Three of the world’s finest chefs are taking the backyard-barbecue concept to a whole new level. On September 9, master chefs Wolfgang Puck, Francis Mallmann, and Adam Perry Lang will partake in the Wolfgang Puck Chef Series at Hotel Bel-Air in Beverly Hills, Calif. Putting a fresh twist on the classic barbecue experience, the alfresco dining extravaganza will highlight each chef’s diverse and distinct culinary chops.
Guests can watch the renowned chefs prepare the food right before their eyes at specially designated barbecue stations before moving from station to station to sample the finished results. Chef Mallmann will honor his Argentine roots by utilizing an open-fire cooking technique, while Wolfgang Puck will prepare spiced, roasted lamb ribs. Chef Perry Lang will roast prime beef brisket and short ribs over pecan wood to create savory, melt-in-your-mouth meat. The main courses will be served alongside wine handpicked by Argentine winemaker Bodega Catena Zapata. Meanwhile, a four-piece band will provide entertainment. Afterwards, guests can purchase the newest copies of each chef’s cookbooks and have them personally signed by the culinary authors. The festival-style culinary soiree is priced at $175 per guest.
