The second annual Crush Camp, a two-day course for aspiring winemakers hosted by Diageo Chateau & Estate Wines (www.diageowines.com), begins September 14 in Napa, Calif. Experts from five of Diageo’s Napa Valley vineyards—Acacia, Beaulieu, Moon Mountain, Provenance, and Sterling—will serve as the counselors. Participants will harvest grapes, create their own wines, and taste Beaulieu’s Clone 4 and Clone 6 wines, among other vintages. The viticultural sojourn will commence with a twilight truck ride through Moon Mountain’s vineyards and a tailgate tasting. The $875 price includes four meals and two nights’ stay at the Napa Valley Marriott Hotel & Spa. . .
