Ceritas is one of the most highly allocated wineries in California. With roughly 2,000 cases produced each year, supply can never meet demand, which results in a long waiting list to receive a tiny allocation. This celebrated Chardonnay is from the Charles Heintz vineyard, which was planted in 1980. These old vines produce an extraordinary wine with immense concentration of fruit and a distinct sense of place.

• John Raytek, a former sommelier, is known for his terroir–driven style and individually distinct single–vineyard wines.
• The wine’s mesmerizing aromas range from stone fruit and citrus to hazelnut, white mushroom, and wet rocks.
