Four Corners at Wm. Mulherin’s Sons (Philadelphia)
Headlining Philadelphia’s outlying neighborhood of Fishtown—lately a hotbed for the city’s culinary creatives—the newly opened Wm. Mulherin’s Sons boasts a cocktail named Four Corners, which makes use of turmeric-infused honey. “I decided to use honey as the sweetener because it provides an earthy flavor to match both the turmeric and ginger roots,” says beverage manager Michael Haggerty. Alongside spicy ginger, the bitter turmeric livens up the cocktail’s Cachaça base. It’s shaken with lemon juice, Ancho Reyes chili liqueur, five drops of habanero shrub bitters, and is finished with four drops of Peychaud’s bitters. (wmmulherinssons.com)
