Grassy Daiquiri at The Anderson (Miami)
The folks behind The Broken Shaker, Miami’s most lauded cocktail bar, are making waves at The Anderson. Full of inherited kitsch (it’s housed inside what was formerly Magnum Lounge, Miami’s oldest bar), the menu features accordingly retro-style cocktails. The Grassy Daiquiri is among their riffs on classics, and includes honey infused with lemongrass. While the herb amplifies the drink’s citrus notes, it lets the honey shine: “It’s subtle and doesn’t take away from the honey flavor,” says the bar’s owner, Gabriel Orta. It takes about two weeks for the lemongrass to infuse the honey to Orta’s liking, but you’ll love this bright cocktail by your first sip. (theandersonmiami.com)
