Tasting notes: Shines with lovely, complex fruit and amazing elegance. Racy, long, fresh, and charming. Can be drunk now or cellared for many years. Worth knowing: This fourth-generation producer is based in Serralunga d’Alba, a small town in the heart of the Barolo production district. The landscape here is dominated by the tall 14th-century Castello Falletti and, perhaps inspired by such a visible reminder of the past, Massolino is committed to traditional viticulture and winemaking.
