One of the world’s most expensive tonearms, the Vertere Reference features a new bearing structure for its pivot that uses three bearings made using a soft metal-polymer film, eliminating static friction and noise along with the need for lubrication. The English manufacturer has been showing the Reference for the last year at various hi-fi shows around the world. Initial demos suggest that this tonearm is truly something special.
