ALLY FORD Ally earned her first 200-hour RYT in San Francisco with Larry Schultz and then began a dedicated Ashtanga yoga practice under the guidance of John Berlinsky in Mill Valley, California. She travelled to Mysore, India in 2003 to study Ashtanga yoga with the beloved Guru, Sri K. Pattabhi Jois and his grandson, Sharath, and meditation and Sanskrit with Jayashree and Nirasimhan. She has completed Advanced Teacher Trainings with John Berlinsky, Ana Forrest, and Richard Freeman, and has been guiding one of the most successful Yoga Alliance 200-hour Ashtanga-based yoga teacher trainings in Tampa Bay, Florida since 2004. “My teaching style reflects an amalgam of all the amazing teachers I’ve had in my life, but always revolves around my favourite ashtanga-based, rocket practice, a la Larry. In addition to weekly classes, I teach retreats/workshops, and I contributed the Vinyasa Flow section of the book, “Everyone Try Yoga”. At home, I balance the vigorous asana with yoga nidra, or a nice long walk while listening to my favourite talks by Alan Watts. When not on my yoga mat, you can find me with my two little children in the park. Ally Ford and I met during the first TT with Larry in 2001 and have been friends ever since. It has been a dream of ours, for a long time, to teach together.”- Amme Poulton Ally’s classes are based on the methodology of the traditional Ashtanga Vinyasa system infused with the spirit and playfulness of Larry Schultz’s Rocket series. She stays true to the rich history and true aim of the practice while exploring and evolving with the needs of today’s practitioners. Find out more at www.AllyFord.com.

AMME POULTON In the midst of law school in Alabama and after her first two of four knee surgeries, Amme discovered yoga. However, it wasn’t until she moved to San Francisco and met Larry Schultz, founder of Rocket Yoga, that she developed a dedicated practice. In 2001, she completed her first training with Larry, and began teaching full time. In 2002, she participated in the first ever Rocket training, followed by Clayton Horton in 2003 and Ana Forest’s Advanced Training in 2004. London has been her home since 2009 and TriYoga and Equinox have become her base.
