Experience Bellagio

Sensory. The dictionary defines it as “pertaining to the senses.” And sensory, in a word, defines the guest experience at Bellagio. For Bellagio is, quite simply, a gorgeous garden of romance and elegance that engages its guests’ higher sensibilities.

Bellagio surprises the senses even as guests approach. Driving alongside a Mediterranean-blue lake, they travel a winding driveway that rises three stories. As they enjoy the pleasant thrum of tires on cobblestone, guests arrive up to a glistening glass and metal porte coch´ere, their gateway to a world of hidden delights in this fanciful environment called Bellagio.

Bellagio: The Only Hotel with Two AAA Five Diamond Restaurants

Of the more than 58,000 restaurants and lodgings AAA evaluated in 2009, less than one-half of one percent earned the coveted AAA Five Diamond rating. And one was Bellagio. In fact, for eight consecutive years Bellagio has earned its way into that rarified Five Diamond club.

“Bellagio has maintained the highest level of hospitality in the most luxurious surroundings,” says AAA’s Nevada spokesman, Michael Geeser, who adds, “the property is really what the Five Diamond rating is all about.”

The Bellagio dining experience is incomparable. This year once again, two of its renowned restaurants received AAA’s Five Diamond rating, Picasso for the eighth consecutive year and Le Cirque for the sixth year running.

“Many of the world’s finest restaurants are located in Las Vegas, and only five boast this rating,” says Randy Morton, president and COO of Bellagio. “But more importantly,” he adds, “Bellagio is still the only hotel in the entire United States featuring two AAA Five Diamond restaurants.”

Bellagio Executive Suite Lounge: Redefining The VIP Treatment

Extending the enchantment of a Bellagio arrival, the new Executive Suite Lounge “provides an intimate registration environment for our suite guests,” says H. Fletch Brunelle, senior vice president of hotel sales and marketing for Bellagio.

With striking views of the resort’s lush botanical front desk garden, the Executive Suite Lounge pampers travel-weary guests by serving delectable refreshments amidst the warmth of hand-stitched leather walls accented by golden wood.

While suite guests ease into their stay, specially assigned concierge can compose comprehensive itineraries. From spa to casino to tee time, they refine and fully personalize every single detail of yet another unforgettable Bellagio experience.

Bellagio’s Master Sommeliers Orchestrate a Transcendent Wine Experience

To get a sense of the scope and depth of Bellagio’s unsurpassable wine service, consider this: There are only 171 Master Sommeliers in the entire world. Three of them practice their craft at Bellagio—the most Master Sommeliers at a single property.

These three maestros, who according to the Court of Master Sommeliers have earned “the highest distinction a professional can attain in fine wine and beverage service,” orchestrate a collection of 50,000 bottles, 5,000 selections, and 250 wines by the glass.

While Bellagio serves more wine than any hospitality outlet in the country, every single glass presented at a table receives the personal attention of a true master of the vine. Or, what Morton calls, “A transcendent wine experience that is accessible, educational, and enjoyable.”

Shadow Creek: A Top-Rated Golf Oasis Exclusive to Bellagio and all MGM MIRAGE Resorts in Las Vegas

The moment Bellagio guests arrive at the Shadow Creek golf course, they will know why golf great–turned–course designer Tom Fazio said, “I doubt I will ever have the chance to build another like it.”

An almost magical mirage in the barren desert, Shadow Creek’s startling mystique of rolling terrain, glistening brooks and ponds, lush gardens and spectacular waterfalls transport visitors to a sensory oasis more akin to a tropical clime. Standing on the perimeter of this golf Eden, guests facing endless desert views would never guess that one of the nation’s top-rated golf courses was directly behind them.

Perennially ranking among both Golf Digest’s and Golf Week’s top ten courses, Shadow Creek was designated the best golf course in the world by Robb Report editors in its annual Best of the Best issue. And now, with a recently completed and Fazio-managed enhancement project, including a new short-game facility, guests can practice putting some Shadow Creek magic in their chips and putts as well.

Bellagio’s Stunning New Suite Designs: Residential Warmth + Resort Amenities “No detail has been overlooked.”

While that comment by Morton could easily apply to all of Bellagio, he was describing a recent $60 million suite redesign. Blending the warmth of an upscale residence with all the comforts of a luxury resort, the new suites offer a buffet of amenities, from high-speed Internet access and HD flat-screen televisions to twice-daily housekeeping and the plushest of robes.

Swathed in sumptuous textiles, each suite’s rich natural palette contrasts warm mahogany with cool Italian marble, while breathtaking views of vibrant Las Vegas balance the drama of original contemporary works of art. Or, as Morton says, “It is a welcoming environment designed to impress even the most discerning customer.”

Bellagio’s Expanded Poker Room: “The Most Dynamic of Settings”

Just as televised World Poker Tour events have transformed poker into a mainstream sports sensation, Bellagio has shattered the image of dark, dreary smoke-filled poker dens with a new 7,000-square-foot poker room unlike any other.

Start with a Murano hand-blown glass chandelier overhead and a Leroy Neiman painting commissioned by Bellagio to depict poker greats battling over a high-stakes game. The smoke-free room features 40 tables of nonstop action as well as a high-limit room called Bobby’s Room in honor of 1978 World Series of Poker Champion and MGM MIRAGE executive Bobby Baldwin.

Having listened to feedback from its players, Bellagio added many new amenities, including 24- hour tableside dining, a state-of-the-art music system, and safe-deposit boxes, resulting in what Morton calls, “the most dynamic of poker settings.”
