International Media Executive Stephen Colvin Named Chief Operating Officer/President of Robb Report Digital

NEW YORK (March 3, 2015) – Stephen Colvin, an internationally recognized media executive known for launching, establishing and re-inventing digital and print properties in the United States and overseas, has been appointed to the newly created position of Chief Operating Officer of Robb Report and President of its digital division.

Reporting to CEO William J. Curtis, Colvin will be responsible for furthering the brand’s growing digital presence, event development and numerous areas of operations domestically and abroad.

Colvin began his career in the U.S. in 1995 as employee number one at Dennis Publishing US, where he launched and established media properties Maxim, Blender, The Week and Stuff.

Most recently, Colvin was Executive in Residence at New York based VC firm Lerer Ventures (now Lerer Hippeau Ventures), as well as acting as an advisor for numerous companies including media industry leader Tina Brown’s start-up “Women in the World LLC,” podcast company Cinchcast, Phoenix Media and Dan Gilbert’s private equity firm Rockbridge Growth Capital.

Previously, he spent three years as CEO of both Newsweek and The Daily Beast.
