A shotski comprises shot glasses affixed to a ski, allowing more than one individual to simultaneously take a shot of liquor—or any other beverage of choice. Several months ago, the late-night talk-show host and avid Robb Report reader Jimmy Fallon presented a shotski of his own design to Andy Cohen during a segment of Cohen’s network TV show Watch What Happens Live.
“This is a one of a kind,” Fallon told Cohen of his shotski, “something you would read about in Robb Report.”
We at Robb Report could not resist the opportunity to show Fallon what would truly constitute a Robb Report–caliber shotski. And so, in coordination with Woodstone Renovation (woodstone-renovation.com) of St. Louis Park, Minn., which assembled our creation and provided three custom mahogany gaskets, we combined a ski from Wagner Custom Skis (www.wagnerskis.com) of Telluride, Colo.—finished in red gumwood—and three handcrafted shot glasses from the famed French crystal house Baccarat (www.baccarat.com). A custom decal for the underside of the ski was the finishing touch.
Jimmy Fallon’s Robb Report Shotski was unveiled on a recent episode of Late Night with Jimmy Fallon and first experienced by Fallon and his guests for the evening, Cohen and Tracy Morgan. (Video clip shown below.)
