When you’re on the list to attend the Ultimo culinary extravaganza in Las Vegas, the only question is how to get there. JetSuiteX, which launched in April, is the latest solution from JetSuite to shake up the private-aviation industry. It lets passengers book seats on regularly scheduled flights between several Western U.S. cities aboard the company’s Embraer ERJ 135 aircraft, which is customized so that all 30 seats feel like first class. The biggest benefits to this model are that flights are often as cheap as commercial flights (sometimes as low as $129 each way) and that the flights go through private terminals so that passengers don’t have to deal with the hassle of commercial airports and security. Before our flight from Hangar 2 at the Hollywood Burbank Airport, we caught up with JetSuite CEO Alex Wilcox to discuss the new service. (x.jetsuite.com) —Bailey S. Barnard Video by Cordero Studios.
