Luxury Brand Continues To Build Senior Executive Team  

NEW YORK, NY (April 21, 2016) Robb Report, the leading voice in luxury, has announced that publishing industry veteran Matthew Carroll will join the esteemed luxury brand as SVP, Publisher/Head of Digital Sales overseeing both Robb Report and RobbReport.com. The announcement was made today by David Arnold, the Company’s EVP, Publishing Director.  

“With a professional reputation within the publishing and advertising sales industry that far proceeds him, Matthew brings a proven track record of driving exponential sales growth, and developing talented, successful executive teams,” said Arnold. “Matthew will lead the publishing charge for Robb Report – our namesake print publication, and build upon the exponential growth of RobbReport.com and the Robb Report Luxury Group.”

Most recently, Carroll served as VP, Associate Publisher at Travel + Leisure where he managed all domestic and international print and digital sales for the brand, leading a team of 40 senior sales and marketing professionals, as well as overseeing strategic partnerships, licensing and retail initiatives. Carroll also served as VP, Business Lead for Wallpaper* US, where he crafted and executed the business model and go-to-market strategy for the US expansion of the renowned architecture and design publication.

Previously, Carroll was SVP, Group Publisher at Modern Luxury Media, leading all national sales and strategic initiatives for 45+ publications including Aspen, Manhattan and Angeleno, among others. He spent time with Gilt City – a division of Gilt Groupe, serving as Senior Director, Head of Sales for the local lifestyle site, where he was responsible for West Coast expansion and sales for Gilt City, building and managing teams in key DMAs including Chicago, Los Angeles and San Francisco. Carroll created Gilt City’s go-to-market strategy and client value proposition. He started his career in media at the Tribune Company, working with top brands including Chicago Tribune and RedEye.
