Taste a Rare 100-Point Cabernet With an Exquisite Six-Course Meal

The exclusive Selanne Steak Tavern dinner will feature rare small-lot wine from Dana Estates in Napa Valley.

Gourmands and cult wine aficionados are in for an extravagant treat when Selanne Steak Tavern, in Laguna Beach, California, hosts a limited seating wine dinner on Sunday, February 28, beginning with a reception at 5 p.m. The dinner, held in the beautifully appointed upstairs Loft, will be highlighted by a tasting of the very rare 2007 Dana Estates ‘Lotus Vineyard’ Cabernet Sauvignon, Napa Valley – given a perfect 100 points in Robert Parker’s The Wine Advocate.

Selanne Steak Tavern’s wine director collaborated with award-winning Napa Valley-based Dana Estates Winery to pair small lot world class wines with a one-of-a-kind dinner, including six courses, plus amuse bouche and intermezzo, created by Executive Chef Joshua Severson and Sous Chef Alison Flecky. A representative from the winery will be on hand to talk with guests about Dana Estates’ uniquely expressive wines.

Price is $395 per person, including tax and gratuity. For reservations, please call (949) 715-9881.
