Andrew Winch Launches Project Mayfair Line of Customized Private Jets

The revered London designer brings elevated elegance to Boeing and Airbus business jets…

Andrew Winch Designs aims to bring back the golden age of air travel with a line of private luxury aircraft modeled after London’s leading hotels. Andrew Winch Designs’ Project Mayfair consists of penthouse-styled Boeing Business Jets or Airbus Corporate Jets that come dressed in Savile Row refinement, with materials that include dark high-gloss veneers, golden onyx, satin, leather, and Loro Piana cashmere—or they can be adorned as desired. The ample living areas include a dramatic entrance vestibule (formed by angled interior bulkheads), a main saloon with a circular skylight-lit bar and dining table, an owner’s cabin with en-suite bathroom, and a secondary bedroom that can be converted into an office or theater.

The company allows clients to customize interiors to their own taste within a set layout configuration that can be replicated easily, allowing for a faster turnaround time and lower production costs, which in turn translates to a lower price for the client. Teamed with China Business Aviation Group, Andrew Winch Designs announced Project Mayfair in April at the 2015 Asian Business Aviation Conference & Exhibition. (andrew-winch-designs.co.uk)
